Hoy les traemos como primer post las vacunas para nosotros los futuros y actuales profesionales de la salud, mañana traeremos la segunda parte.
Las personas que trabajan en el sector de salud están habitualmente expuestas a agentes infecciosos. La disminución del riesgo de adquirir enfermedades inmunocontagiosas se basa en tres pilares:
-Lavado de manos
-Institución rápida de medidas apropiadas en pacientes que padecen, o en los que se sospecha, enfermedades infectocontagiosas.
-Inmunización adecuada.
La prevención adecuada contra las enfermedades inmunoprevenibles es importantes porque protege al personal de la adquisición de enfermedades, muchas de las cuales poseen complicaciones serias en el adulto y evita que el personal actúe como fuente de propagación de agentes infecciosos entre los pacientes, especialmente entre aquellos que poseen un riesgo mayor como los inmunocomprometidos.
Todo el personal que se desempeña en el sector salud debe estar adecuadamente inmunizado para las las enfermedades inmunoprevenibles y con las vacunas recomendadas en el adulto como:
-Hepatitis B
-Influenza
-Triple viral (sarampión, rubeola y parotiditis)
-Varicela
-Doble bacteriana (dT) (difteria y tetanos)
-Hepatitis A
-Anti-Neumococo
